Burlingame Public Libraries is offering a training for teens to volunteer with the new Book Buddies program, which pairs teen volunteers with elementary-school-age readers.
The program allows kids to practice reading and teens to become role models while helping kids.
The program runs eight weeks. Teens must attend training before participating.
