This fall the City of Burlingame Parks and Recreation Department will host a Junior Basketball League for both boys and girls; Kindergarten through 3rd grades. The program is designed to introduce children to the game of basketball through both an interactive learning session as well as participation in an actual game. Emphasis will be on creating a fun and positive atmosphere where chidren will enjoy learning basic basketball skills. Each week players will participate in a 20 minute instructional session prior to playing in an actual 40 minute game.
