DEA Security Systems

DEA Security Systems Co., Inc. is a family-owned and operated security company proudly serving Hillsborough and the greater San Francisco Bay Area since 1983. Founded by Drake and Charisse Allen, the company has earned a reputation for integrity, reliability, and highly personalized service. Unlike large national security companies, DEA Security Systems takes a hands-on, local approach. Every system is custom designed, installed, and supported by experienced, licensed technicians who know the community and remain directly accessible to their clients. There are no call centers, no one-size-fits-all solutions, and no rotating service personnel. DEA Security Systems provides professional, UL-listed alarm monitoring along with intrusion and fire alarm systems, access control, and video surveillance (CCTV). The company emphasizes long-term system performance, discreet design, and responsive service. DEA Security Systems is a security provider recommended by local law enforcement and trusted by generations of Bay Area homeowners and businesses. Fully licensed and insured, the company remains committed to protecting what matters most through experience, accountability, and personal attention.

Samaritan House

For the security guard sleeping in his car. Or the teacher whose emergency room visit put her a month behind on rent. Or the mom working three jobs to make sure her kids have food and clothes. For all who are struggling to make ends meet, Samaritan House is here to help. For over 50 years, Samaritan House has been leading the fight against poverty in San Mateo County. We are the only organization that delivers essential services and personalized support to connect the people living in poverty among us to the full range of resources and services they need. More than just ensuring our clients are fed, clothed, healthy, and housed, we help them create their own stability and remain an active, successful part of the community. Over recent years, many more families in San Mateo County have been thrust into poverty. From the COVID-19 pandemic, to increasing wealth inequality, to the impacts of inflation and the housing crisis, the financial pressures on our neighbors have grown. Through it all, Samaritan House has been here to help – keeping pace with the demand and opening up new possibilities for people living in poverty. Though the road ahead is uncertain, we remain steadfast to our commitment to helping over 32,000 of our neighbors living in poverty every year. With each action, each conversation, and each new program we develop, we are Fighting poverty. Lifting lives.
