The California Lottery is excited to welcome POWERBALL to California on April 8th! In support of the POWERBALL Launch, California Lottery is hosting a school supplies drive benefiting Thurgood Marshall High School, a school in need in San Francisco. Drop off your donations between April-1-8, 2013 at receptacles throughout Embarcadero Center in San Francisco (Two Embarcadero Center, Street Level, San Francisco). We are currently accepting donations of any of the following: pens, paper, crayons, markers, flash cards, gym equipment, notebooks, educational books, etc. Please visit calottery.com/happenings/powerball for a full list of items needed.
The introduction of POWERBALL to the California Lottery’s game portfolio is expected to bring in $50-100 million in additional supplemental funds for California public schools and have a significant impact on the economy.
