This class is for students who are new to Mandarin Chinese, especially those from non-Mandarin speaking families. The class will use a new multimedia learning course with in class teaching and a CD-Rom for at home practice. The course uses interactive fun activities such as games, songs, rhymes, and demos to encourage students' interests and ease their learning process. The emphasis of the class is mostly on listening and speaking but also with a little exposure to reading and writing.
