Community Building Workshop: Start Something!

Do you have an idea for improving Burlingame? Do you want to start a new group, organize a community effort or beautify the city?

Vice Mayor Terry Nagel will explain how you can engage the community in your cause at a Community Building Workshop on Saturday, October 23, from 9 to 10 a.m. in the Lane Community Room at the main Burlingame Public Library, 480 Primrose Road. Coffee will be served and handouts will be provided.

The workshop will include tips on getting media coverage, enlisting support, using email and social networking, and inexpensive venues for meetings. Admission is free, but reservations are requested by October 20th. To RSVP, contact Terry Nagel at terry@terrynagel.com or Ann Keighran at ann@sjkdev.com
