Community Resiliency and Emergency Preparedness Forum Wednesday, April 24, 2013


In case of emergency, resiliency is key to recovery and survival--a more connected San Mateo County is a more resilient one.


The annual Thrive community resiliency forum on Wednesday, April 24 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Sobrato Center for Nonprofits, Redwood Shores, will provide thought-provoking sessions, opportunity for collaborations and practical, hands-on activities. Peninsula nonprofit leaders, government agencies, local business and community members will hear expert panelists moderated by community leaders in their respective fields. Welcome by Steve Wagstaffe, San Mateo County District Attorney. Panels moderated by Don Mattei, San Mateo County Office of Emergency Services: Susan Wright, San Mateo County Energy Watch; and Andrea Zussman, The San Francisco Foundation. Ana-Marie Jones, keynote speaker. Event sponsors include PG&E, Mercy Center and Mark Moulton.
