In this knitting class, children between 1st and 5th grades will start with finger knitting, working on projects that require no needles. They will then move on to learn how to cast on and off, and work with basic stitches to make fun and fabulout knit creations. Knitting is not only a hip and useful skill, it teaches kids mathematics, concentration, and improves dexterity. Experienced knitters can bring existing projects to class.
