Everyone who joined Sue Digre and Parca in January had a blast doing Zumba with Yulissa. Yulissa is a 21-year old woman with Down's Syndrome, who in March 2012 became the first certified Zumba instructor with disabilities.
Zumba is an easy-to-follow latin-inspired dance fitness party accompanied by upbeat music. We hope you will participate but you are also welcome to watch. Dressing for Zumba is easy - comfortable, cool clothes and any shoe that will give you a little support. If you are not ready to do Zumba, please come and watch!

Yulissa started by taking one Zumba class a week. She loved it so much that she began going three times a week and after being in front of her class one day, realized that her dream was to be a Zumba instructor. She told her mom, "I love music, I love dance, I know the steps, I can do it" and she has! Last August, Yulissa attended the International Zumba Convention in Orlando where on the stage, she lead 8,000 people in a Zumba class.
