As a nonpartisan organization the League is frequently called upon to perform this voter service to community groups. On November 6, California voters will face initiatives covering a wide array of issues relating to taxation, budget reform, financing education, the death penalty, three strikes penalties, political contributions, auto insurance, labeling of genetically modified foods, and a referendum on redistricting State Senate districts. Gayle Hardt, Voter Service Chair, and the League speaker corps will present this program for the benefit of our members, their guests and the public.
