We are the only organization that delivers essential services and personalized support to connect the people living in poverty among us to the full range of resources and services they need. More than just ensuring our clients are fed, clothed, healthy, and housed, we help them create their own stability and remain an active, successful part of the community. Over recent years, more and more families in San Mateo County have been thrust into poverty. From the COVID-19 pandemic, to increasing wealth inequality, to the impacts of inflation and the housing crisis, the financial pressures on our neighbors have grown. Through it all, Samaritan House has been here to help – keeping pace with the demand and opening up new possibilities for people living in poverty. Though the road ahead is uncertain, we remain steadfast to our commitment to helping over 32,000 of our neighbors living in poverty every year. The NCFOA is a group of 60+ officials that are part of a nonprofit association that provides officiating for all levels of high school football from San Francisco all the way down to King's Academy. We serve: AAA league in San Francisco, PAL (Peninsula Athletic League) from Daly City to Redwood City. WCAL (Western Catholic Athletic League) from San Francisco to San Mateo. We are actively recruiting men and women 18 years of age or older to join our group.  Naturally, we are currently in the off-season, but our pre-season preparation has already begun. Our season generally runs from late August through early December, but there are plenty of pre-season activities that will happen between now and then.  Our first off-season spring meeting and summer study sessions are being planned; it is perfect time to get involved with our pre-season activities and join the crew.
