This play for kids in grades 3rd through 5th will feature all the wonderful characters that we have come to know and love - Dorothy, Toto, Auntie Em, Uncle Henry, Glinda the Good Witch, Scarecrow, Tin Man, Lion, Wizard of Oz, Wicked Witch of the West, and of course Munchkins and Flying Monkeys. This is not a musical, although music will be incorporated into the play. It is based on the original play by L. Frank Baum but is very freely adapted by Nancy Flanagan, who has brought more humor and magic to the play. For more information visit the Recreation Department page of the City of Burlingame website.
