The Burlingame Historical Society and Burlingame Public Library are proud to present the film, "People In Glass Houses: The Legacy of Joseph Eichler."
This 45-minute documentary is the first film made about the Eichler Homes. One of the featured locations, the Bazett House, in Hillsborough, is where Eichler lived from 1943 to 1945. It was here that Eichler first felt the power of modern architecture. Inspired, he began building modern tract homes a few years later.
Filmmaker Monique Lombardelli will be present to discuss her experience and answer questions after this free screening.
