Recology San Mateo County this week will pick up new and gently-used coats left on the curbs on recycling collection days in Belmont, Burlingame, Foster City, Menlo Park, Redwood City and San Carlos. Resident should place donations coats in clear plastic bags marked "Coats for Kids." Place the bags next to or on top of blue recycle carts. Coats also can be left at various drop boxes around town.
