Compllementing the upcoming Girl with a Pearl Earring exhibition (opening January 2013) at the de Young, REMBRANT'S CENTURY, sheds light on a facinating roset of artisitic personalities, both famous and nearly forgotten of the late Mannerist and Baroque eras. At its core is a generous selection of etching by Rembrandt van Rijn - arguably his generation's most influential artist.
A slide show and lecture featuring the highlights of the exhibitions will be presented by Museum Docent, Julia Geist.
