An Information and Organizational Meeting of the San Mateo County – Move To Amend to respond to the U.S. Supreme Court ruling in Citizens United v Federal Election Commission, January 21, 2010, that corporations are people with constitutional rights and can anonymously spend as much money as they wish on political campaigns and run the government. We object, and are organizing to pass a Constitutional Amendment to overturn the Supreme Court and declare that only human beings have constitutional rights and money is not speech.
