FBI Seeks Burlingame Bank Robber: 'Audi Bandit'

The FBI says the suspect is linked to three successful bank robberies and one attempted robbery.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — The FBI is asking for help identifying a man they've named the "Audi bandit," who is suspected in three bank robberies and one attempted bank robbery in the Bay Area.

The suspect was seen driving away in two different Audi vehicles in the incidents, which took place on May 27 and June 3 in Burlingame, Livermore and Pleasanton.

FBI officials are describing the suspect as a Hispanic man, 5 feet 7 to 5 feet 8 inches tall, in his early to mid-20s with a skinny to medium build.

The suspect was wearing a white mask made out of some type of clothing such as a T-shirt, dark sunglasses, a white sweater, a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and jeans.

He was seen in a newer silver or gray Audi A7 or a newer silver or gray Audi allroad. Both vehicles had "dealer inserts" or dealer tags rather than registered license plates.

The suspect was seen in the A7 on May 27 after he robbed a Wells Fargo Bank at 1145 Broadway in Burlingame.

He was seen in the allroad on June 3 when he tried to rob a Fremont Bank at 1879 Holmes St. in Livermore and successfully robbed a Westamerica Bank at 1480 First St. in Livermore and a Wells Fargo Bank at
4767 Hopyard Road in Pleasanton.

The suspect in each incident demanded money by showing a note to a bank employee. The FBI is not disclosing how much money the suspect stole.
