Free program takes mystery out of electric vehicles

Rebates, charging basics, overview of EV models included

Driving an electric vehicle (EV) is one of the single biggest actions you can take to fight climate change. At a free online program from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 3, called “Goodbye Gas, Hello EVs,” you’ll learn about the benefits of driving an EV, charging basics, rebates, the latest makes and models, and what’s in store for the future.

The program will begin with an overview of electric vehicles, including financial benefits and other perks of owning an EV. Current owners will then provide information about their specific models and answer questions in breakout rooms. This program is presented by Acterra in partnership with the Citizens Environmental Council. There is no charge for admission, but you must pre-register at tinyurl.com/goevoct3.

This event is part of National Drive Electric Week, which is presented by Plug In America, Sierra Club and the Electric Auto Association. Nissan LEAF is the exclusive automotive sponsor.
