Free training for new Hams
Experienced radio operators offer hands-on training June 1

Ham radio operators provide vital links to the outside world when other forms of communication are down.
The Burlingame Neighborhood Network is inviting new Ham radio operators to a Hands-On Training Workshop on Saturday, June 1, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Burlingame Public Library, where experienced Hams from the San Mateo Radio Club will help them get up to speed.
To get the most out of this workshop, participants will need to bring a radio with them. Brian Mathews of the Radio Club has provided information about buying a Ham radio here: https://tinyurl.com/yxhp32dd.
