Get in the Game, Burlingame!

Participate in the city's community fair on June 8

The City of Burlingame is inviting all residents in the city to a community fair from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 8, in the Burlingame Community Center at 850 Burlingame Ave. to learn about volunteer opportunities with local organizations and city government.

Called “Get in the Game, Burlingame!”, this open house will feature more than 20 tables staffed by local groups offering opportunities to get involved with local nonprofits, clubs and city commissions. It’s an opportunity to make new friends and share your unique skills and talents to improve the community. There will be food, fun and prizes, including a raffle for lunch with the mayor.

All ages are welcome. There is no cost to attend, but individuals planning to attend are asked to pre-register at bit.ly/BurlingameFairSignup

No canopy is required, as the event will take place inside the Community Center. Please feel free to bring any promotional materials and items to the event.

“Giving back to the community is a great way to connect with others and feel good about making our wonderful city even better,” said Mayor Donna Colson, who organized the event. “I hope you will join us to learn more about all the good things our city has to offer.”
