Giant Two-Day Recycling Event
A large recycling “UnWaste” event will take place Saturday-Sunday, September 14-15 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in city Parking Lot W, adjacent to the Burlingame Green Street Fair. Visitors are encouraged to enter the lot from Howard Avenue near Park Road to drop off items.
UnWaste, a state-licensed recycler will accept clothing, small household appliances, and small and large electronic items and appliances, whether they are working or not. There is no charge for small items and a small free for larger ones. All items will be recycled locally in compliance with U.S. and state standards; nothing will be shipped to landfills or overseas.
