Help Burlingame Celebrate!
Entire City Council and many residents plan to attend Awards Dinner on April 4

Burlingame residents are turning out in force to help celebrate the 2019 Sustainability Award that Sustainable San Mateo County (SSMC) will award to the Citizens Environmental Council (CEC) of Burlingame on Thursday, April 4 for CEC’s contribution to sustainability in the county. If you’d like to join one of the Burlingame tables at SSMC’s 20th Anniversary Awards Dinner and Auction, tickets will be available at sustainablesanmateo.org/awards until 5 p.m. on Monday, March 25. Be sure to email info@cecburlingame.org if you’d like to sit at one of the Burlingame tables.
Among those attending are Burlingame Mayor Donna Colson, Vice Mayor Emily Beach and Councilmembers Michael Brownrigg, Ann Keighran and Ricardo Ortiz, as well as County Manager Mike Callagy. California State Senator Jerry Hill will emcee the program, which will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Bayview Dining Room at the College of San Mateo.

The evening will feature a networking hour with lots of sustainability leaders, an auction with dozens of Burlingame items, a three-course dinner and professional videos of each awardee produced by The Riekes Center.
The annual SSMC awards are designed to raise awareness of sustainability in the community and inspire others to take action.
