Help the USO at SFO

The ubiquitous coffee pot has been replaced by Keurig K-Cups. The USO needs donations.

Written by Bea Karnes

The USO is trying to eliminate waste so it’s replaced conventional coffee systems with a Keurig K-Cup system at San Francisco International Airport (SFO).

According to Jeff Herndon, Director of USO Bay Area, “It also simplifies the process for our visitors by consolidating coffee, tea, and hot chocolate into one brewing system.”

The USO is seeking donations of any flavor coffee, hot chocolate or tea in K-Cup packaging. They are also seeking half-and-half, French vanilla, and Irish crème flavored creamers.

If you'd like to make a donation, contact Herndon at 650-821-7615. You may also make a financial donation online that goes directly to the USO of the San Francisco Bay Area.
