HILLSBOROUGH, CA – Police asked for the public's help Thursday to find three men responsible for a local home burglary.
According to Hillsborough Police Sgt. Dave Young, the theft happened sometime between noon and 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, when two men smashed a window to a home in the 800 block of Darrell Road.
"The suspects ransacked the home and stole numerous electronic items," Young said in a news release. "A neighbor’s residence was equipped with a surveillance camera and captured video of the suspects leaving the home. They left the home at approximately 1:45 p.m. according to the time stamp on the video."

Two men were spotted exiting the house, who then hopped into a black, 3 series BMW being driven by a third suspect, according to the sergeant.
"As the suspects left the home, one appeared to be on the phone," Young said. "It is likely he was calling the third suspect driving the vehicle who appeared immediately in the footage as they exited the home."
