Two teens were arrested on burglary charges in Redwood City Sunday after a month-long investigation involving three Peninsula cities.

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA - Two teens were arrested on burglary charges in Redwood City Sunday after a month-long investigation involving three cities and the San Mateo County Sheriff's office, according to police.

The investigation started in late October after police arrested 19-year-old Jesus Franco of Redwood City in connection with a residential burglary in Belmont.

Based on the similarity of that crime to others in nearby cities, Belmont officers began working with Hillsborough and Redwood City police, as well as deputies from the sheriff's office.
