"She said the subject went with the baptism party to a location where lunch was held and ate food with the group," police said. "After the reporting party realized no one in the party knew the subject, the reporting party called the police."

When an officer arrived on the scene, the man said he was at the church because he lived there and was also doing construction work there, police said.

"The officer noticed the subject was unable to control the movement of his fingers and was blinking his eyes uncontrollably," police added. "Knowing that this is one of the signs of being under the influence, the officer asked the subject when he last used narcotics."

The man then allegedly admitted he'd used methamphetamine a few days earlier. After some field tests, the officer determined that the man was under the influence of a controlled substance and arrested him on drug charges, police said.
