Hooded Men Bust Into Hillsborough Home, Ransack Residence: Police
Sheriff's officials say the homeowner was held at gunpoint while they were robbed.

HILLSBOROUGH, CA — Hillsborough police are looking for three men suspected of breaking into a local home and robbing the resident, officials said.
The resident in the area of Marlborough and Whitwell roads called police at 11:48 p.m. Wednesday to report that they had been held at gunpoint while two other people stole their property.
"[The suspects] entered the home through an open garage door and an unlocked interior door," the sheriff's office reported. "One suspect held the reporting party at gunpoint while the other two stole various items from within the home."

Police described the suspects as three black male adults, wearing black hooded sweatshirts and gloves.
Police said they have several leads and they are asking anyone who may have more information about the robbery to call the Police Department at (650) 375-7470.

"Additionally, we are asking residents who have residential video surveillance systems in this neighborhood to review their video and share any footage that may assist us in this investigation," police said.
