According to the San Mateo Association of Realtors, Foster City is enjoying a stellar late summer. Using data culled from the Multiple Listing Service (MLS), SAMCAR determined that in August, Foster City doubled its total sales from July, increasing single-family home prices to $990,820 (an increase of 3 percent over July's $957,788) along the way. Transactions were also up 42.9 percent year-over-year, while values were up 6 percent from August, 2010.
