How Sea Level Rise Will Impact You: Burlingame Public Library Event
Experts explain how rising waters will impact property values, safety, transportation and what you can do about it
The Citizens Environmental Council of Burlingame invites you to hear two experts explain what sea level rise means for Burlingame and the Bay Area, what regional agencies and governments are doing to prepare for it, and how you can make a difference by making your voice heard. You’ll also learn about Burlingame’s participation in a competition for a grant to combat sea level rise.
This program will take place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, in the Lane Room at the Burlingame Public Library. Admission is free and everyone attending is eligible for a free raffle prize.
