JUST IN: West Valley College Evacuating Over Bomb Threat

A tweet sent this morning indicated a credible bomb threat was received. The Saratoga campus is being evacuated and classes canceled

SARATOGA - A tweet from officials at West Valley College in Saratoga says the campus is being closed this morning due to a credible bomb threat, and evacuations are underway.

All classes, including evening classes, are canceled according to a post on the college website. All on campus are being advised to walk to cars or bus stops and to “evacuate in an orderly fashion.”

Shortly after 10 a.m., the school posted this announcement:

“WVM Alert:West Valley College has received a credible bomb threat and is evacuating the campus immediately. This includes all students and employees. Please remain calm, proceed to your car or bus and evacuate in an orderly fashion. The campus will remain closed and all remaining day and evening classes are cancelled. Check the website and social media for updates.”
