Last Chance to Sign Up for Burlingame's Citywide Emergency Drill

Participate with your neighbors in Burlingame's Citywide Emergency Drill on October 22

Don’t miss this final opportunity to participate in Burlingame’s Citywide Emergency Drill on Saturday, October 22, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. The Burlingame Neighborhood Network is leading the drill with support from the Central County Fire Department, the Burlingame Police Department, Burlingame CERTs and local HAM radio operators.

The deadline to sign up is October 15. Just send an email to info@theneighborhoodnetwork.org and we’ll match you with a group that is participating.

The exercise will take place on multiple blocks throughout Burlingame. The drill helps neighbors get to know one another better and how to work together and provide help following a disaster, when residents are advised to be prepared to be on their own for up to 72 hours. Adults and children 10 and older can take active roles.
