Lessons from the Wildfires

Firefighters share tips they learned while fighting the recent wildfires

Central County Fire Department leaders will share what they learned on the scene of the recent wildfires and explain what you can do to help prevent them at a free program called "Lessons from the Wildfires" on Monday, January 29 from 7 to 8 p.m. at Hillsborough Town Hall.

The program is sponsored by the City of Burlingame, the Town of Hilslborough, and the Burlingame and Hillsborough Neighborhood Networks. It will feature Fire Chief John Kammeyer, Deputy Fire Chief Drew Flinders and Deputy Fire Marshal Christine Reed, who will discuss local wildfire management, measures you can take to protect your home, emergency communication channels, the evacuation process and essential items to including in an emergency "go bag." They will also answer questions from the audience.
