Man Shot Dead in 'Targeted' Burlingame Shooting: Police
Police say the incident happened outside an airport-area hotel.

BURLINGAME, CA – One person is dead and a suspect is sought following a weekend shooting in Burlingame, police report.
According to Burlingame Police Lt. Jay Kiely, the incident happened around 5:45 a.m. Sunday outside the the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport hotel on Bayshore Highway.
"Officers arrived on scene and discovered the victim suffering from injuries consistent with a shooting," Kiely said in a news release. "Immediate medical aid was rendered; however, the victim ultimately succumbed to his injuries at the scene."

Kiely says the man was found in the driveway of the hotel. There's no suspect information yet, but the lieutenant says "...it does appear that the victim was targeted."
His identity is being withheld pending family notification.
