'March For Our Lives' Planned In Burlingame

Stand up for gun control!

On Saturday, March 24, Burlingame will have a local "March for Our Lives" gun control rally -- a low-key, family friendly alternative to the San Francisco march. We're coming together as ordinary members of the community, unaffiliated with any particular group, to say in unison that gun violence has become intolerable and we need meaningful change now. Burlingame Mayor Michael Brownrigg and County Supervisor Dave Pine will be joining us.

Meet us at 10 a.m. at the picnic tables at Washington Park (we have them reserved). Bring a sign or take one of those that will be provided. Together, we'll march to Burlingame Avenue and go down one side, cross Burlingame Avenue at El Camino, and march back on the other side. This won't be a long event, and will be manageable for kids!

Let us know if you can attend by checking in on the Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/events/171883936790242/)
