BURLINGAME, CA — About an hour after Burlingame police asked for the public's help in finding a missing 17-year-old girl on Thursday, the agency reported that she was found safe. Ellie Mullins had last been seen around 3 p.m. Wednesday near the main library in Burlingame. Police said she never returned home and were concerned for her safety. By 8:45 a.m. Thursday, though, police announced on Facebook that Mullins had been located and she was safe. The agency thanked the public for their help, but did not provide any other details about where or when the girl was located.Patch file photo by Renee Schiavone
