Missing Burlingame Man Sought: Have You Seen Lorenzo Neri?

BREAKING: Police are asking for help with finding the man who "had recently become increasingly paranoid that people were out to hurt him."

BURLINGAME, CA — Burlingame police are asking for the public's help finding a local resident who has not been seen all week. They are concerned for the safety and well-being of Lorenzo Neri, who was reported missing on Monday by a family friend — and is without his phone and wallet, officials say.

"The friend, as well as other acquaintances, reported that Neri had recently become increasing paranoid that people were out to hurt him, and he was possibly suffering from an undiagnosed condition," Burlingame Police Lt. Jay Kiely said in a news release.

Later the same morning, police in Scotts Valley spotted Neri in the area of Scotts Valley Drive and Acorn Court, according to Kiely. They tried to talk to him, but he took off running.
