Museum Studios To Open Burlingame Artist Exhibit
Acclaimed artist Margaret Chen's solo exhibit is entitled "Moments."

BURLINGAME, CA — Museum Studios, a department of the Peninsula Museum of Art in Burlingame, will launch a new abstract-art exhibit next week from Bay Area artist, drummer, and pianist Margaret Chen.
The solo exhibit, entitled "Moments" which runs July 18 through Sept. 1 and is free to the public, is intended to present "an electrifying series of abstracts and abstract portraits that capture the spirit of life and the moments we live in," museum officials said.
Chen's unique pieces blend her passion and curiosity for life with bold brushwork, colors, layers and shapes to represent bursts of positive energy and movement. Subjects are captured and surrounded in flattering, unexpected abstract compositions.
