The driver exited the vehicle before it was hit by the train.

Caltrains are starting to get moving again Wednesday night after a northbound train struck a vehicle on the tracks in Burlingame, according to Caltrain officials.

Caltrain announced the crash via Twitter at 10:45 p.m., saying that northbound train No. 197 struck a vehicle near Bayswater Avenue.

The driver exited the vehicle before it was hit by the train, according to Caltrain spokeswoman Jayme Ackemann, and no injuries were reported.
