Northern California Paintings to Be Displayed at PAI
The paintings by Kevyn Warnock are part of the exhibit titled The Quiet Earth.

Oil painter Kevyn Warnock has been painting Bay Area landscapes for the past 22 years, finding infinite variety in the gold and green hills, the many moods of the ocean; and the interplay of the people who inhabit these environments.
In this solo exhibit Warnock has used the title The Quiet Earth to indicate the power of our physical planet as it evolves so slowly. There is the illusion that we and the earth are in stasis.

Warnock works her perspective to push the scope of human versus natural elements. We find ourselves drawn into her seascapes and landscapes, enjoying the interplay, wanting to explore, being captured in her natural world.
In addition to California scenes, the artist presents paintings of the dramatic mountains that surround her childhood home in Northern Utah.
