BURLINGAME, CA – One driver was nabbed on suspicion of DUI during a holiday weekend saturation patrol in Burlingame, police say.

Burlingame resident Samuel Hernandez-Macedo, 50, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol on Friday night, as local police officers conducted their anti-DUI operation between the hours of 6 p.m. and 2 a.m., according to Sgt. Jim Ford.

"High visibility DUI enforcement efforts have a deterrent effect lowering the incidents of impaired driving and will continue thanks to special funding for extra officers to patrol for this deadly crime," Ford said in a news release.
