The Path to a Carbon-Free Future

Energy experts to share solutions and new energy initiatives

Sustainable San Mateo County’s 24th annual Indicators Report will be unveiled at 11 a.m. October 6 at a free online gathering featuring experts sharing solutions about the path to a carbon-free future for the State of California and local communities in San Mateo County.

Each year the Indicators Report examines one aspect of sustainability performance in San Mateo County. This year the emphasis is on renewable energy and energy efficiency. The report includes comprehensive data, key challenges and actions, case studies and solutions within San Mateo County.

The Indicators Report Launch on Zoom will feature keynote remarks by State Senate candidate Josh Becker, a public policy innovator who has been a champion of renewable energy, and energy experts David Kaneda, principal at IDeAs Consulting, and Phillip Kobernick, program manager at Peninsula Clean Energy.
