Peninsula Humane Society Shelter Pets Get Loving Boost From Local Teen Pageant Queen

America's Miss California Jr Teen 2016, Annie Lu, stopped by the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA with some special gifts.

BURLINGAME, CA – Peninsula shelter pets got a generous gift from an animal-loving local teen, who spent a month collecting items for the furry friends at the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA.

Shelter officials tell Patch that Annie Lu, who is the 2016 America’s Miss California Junior Teen winner, dropped off seven boxes of food and other animal-related items on Tuesday.

"She held a month long pet food and items drive throughout Burlingame and Millbrae to collect items needed for the shelter pets," Buffy Martin Tarbox says.
