Missing Woman, 91, Found By Peninsula Police [UPDATED]

BREAKING: The elderly woman hadn't been seen since early Thursday afternoon, police say.

UPDATE: A 91-year-old woman who went missing in San Mateo Thursday afternoon has been located, police said this morning. Police said Ming Wong walked away from Central Park at 50 E. Fifth Ave. around 1 p.m. Thursday. The San Mateo Police Department reported at 4:13 a.m. Wong had been located.

SAN MATEO, CA — San Mateo police are asking for the public's help Thursday night with finding a missing elderly woman who suffers from dementia. The woman, 91-year-old Ming Wong walked away from Central Park around 1 p.m. Thursday and hasn't been seen since, according to the San Mateo Police Department.

Wong is 5 feet tall, weighs 90 pounds and has shoulder-length gray hair. She was last seen wearing a green short-sleeved shirt, a long skirt and was possibly carrying a floral bag, police said. A photo of her is attached to this article.
