Person Hit, Killed On Burlingame Caltrain Tracks

BURLINGAME, CA — A person was fatally struck by a train this evening in Burlingame, Caltrain officials said. The collision occurred at 6:38 p.m. Friday on the tracks at Morrell Avenue.

Caltrain officials said southbound train No. 380 hit the person and trains are stopped in the area.

None of the 370 passengers on board train No. 380 have reported being injured.

Caltrain officials said this is the seventh fatality of the year.

Customers faced delays of up to 30 minutes because of the collision.
