Postal Service Big Rig Flips on Highway 101, Driver Hospitalized: CHP
The driver of the USPS truck suffered head injuries and was taken to the hospital, according to the CHP. [BREAKING]

MILLBRAE, CA — A driver of a United States Postal Service truck suffered major injuries when the truck overturned Friday morning in Millbrae, a California Highway Patrol spokesman said.
CHP officials received a report of the crash at 6:59 a.m. on the Millbrae Avenue off-ramp from southbound U.S. Highway 101.
CHP spokesman Officer Art Montiel said the driver suffered moderate head injuries and was taken to a hospital.

The driver is a Union City man in his early 60s. He lost control of truck and it fell on its side, Montiel said.

Traffic has not been affected much because it's a holiday weekend.
The off-ramp was closed but was expected to open around 2:00 p.m. after crews moved the mail from one truck to another, CHP officials said.
No other vehicles were involved.
