Public Scoping Meeting for State Route 82 Floribunda Avenue Intersection Safety Improvement Project

Caltrans will
hold a public scoping meeting to present a proposed safety improvement project
on State Route 82 (El Camino Real) at Floribunda Avenue in the City of
Burlingame and Town of Hillsborough. The purpose of the project is to improve
safety by reducing the potential for collisions and improve traffic operations.

Caltrans
has filed a Notice of Preparation with the California State Clearinghouse to
prepare an Environmental Impact Report/Environmental Assessment (EIR/EA), for
the State Route 82 Floribunda Avenue Intersection Safety Improvement Project.
The scoping meeting will be held to provide the public an opportunity to view
the scope of the project and provide comments on potential relevant
environmental issues that should be considered during the preparation of the
EIR/EA.  

Displays will
be available for viewing along with comment cards for the public to provide
input on the project’s potential environmental impacts.

The City of Burlingame
