A Treat for Halloween: Experts Offer Climate Change Solutions
Sustainable SMC gathering will take place at new location

You're invited to Sustainable San Mateo County’s 23rd annual Indicators Report Launch and Lunch from 11:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the San Mateo Marriott on Thursday, October 31, to enjoy lunch, network and learn the latest findings about San Mateo County’s sustainability performance. Join us to hear experts discuss innovative ways to address climate change and to add your voice to the conversation!
Keynote speakers will be Dr. Jenny Suckale, Assistant Professor of Geophysics and Center Fellow at the Stanford Woods Institute for the Environment at Stanford University, and Richard Sampson, Division Chief with Cal Fire. They will be followed by a panel discussion with experts Kelsey Morgan of Oracle, Kirsten Andrews-Schwind of Peninsula Clean Energy and Sophie Martin of Genentech.
Due to the untimely death of Oracle's CEO, this event has been moved from Oracle's campus to the San Mateo Marriott at 1770 S. Amphlett Blvd., San Mateo. Attendees are invited to come at 11 a.m. to register and network with colleagues while visiting exhibitors’ tables. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. and the program will begin at noon.
