Scholarship deadline extended

Burlingame High seniors may apply

The Citizens Environmental Council of Burlingame (CEC) has extended the deadline for applications to its College Scholarship Program until April 27. This is the fifth year CEC will award scholarships to deserving Burlingame High School (BHS) seniors who have demonstrated their passion for environmental causes and issues.

Interested BHS seniors are encouraged to complete the application at https://bit.ly/2ynBrrG. Students should ask Jonathan Dhyne at jdhyne@smuhsd.org to send a copy of their most recent transcript to scholarship@cecburlingame.org by the April 27 deadline, too. They can also address questions regarding the program to that same email address.

CEC is indebted to Sterling Franklin of the Morris S. Smith Foundation for funding these annual scholarships.
