Suspects South In Peninsula Shooting
Sheriff's officials say a person got out of a car to shoot at a person in another car.

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — San Mateo County sheriff's officials are investigating a car-to-car shooting on the Peninsula that occurred Thursday afternoon. No injuries were reported in the incident.
The shooting was reported at about 2 p.m. Thursday near Sixth Avenue and San Bruno Avenue East near Interstate Highway 380 and U.S. Highway 101.
San Mateo County sheriff's spokeswoman Detective Rosemerry Blankswade said two cars apparently left one of the highways and a passenger in one car got out and shot at a second car. Both vehicles were gone when deputies arrived but detectives are working on leads.
