'Suspicious Person' Sought By Hillsborough Police
Police say the person has been recorded looking into parked vehicles and has attempted to open a rear gate to access a property.

HILLSBOROUGH, CA — Hillsborough police on Monday asked for the public's help finding a person who has allegedly been wandering local neighborhoods late at night and early in the morning — and has been caught on camera multiple times. The "suspicious person" was most recently spotted in the area of Forest View and Floribunda avenues, according to police.
"The subject is wearing a hooded sweatshirt and is riding a bicycle," Hillsborough Police Lt. Nelson Corteway said in a news release. "In a number of cases, the subject is recorded looking into parked vehicles and has attempted to open a rear gate to access the backyard of a property."

"As a reminder, the Hillsborough Police Department strongly encourages you to lock your vehicles and remove all valuables," Corteway said. "We recommend the use of residential security and camera systems."
